Coach Kimmie Day
Hi, I’m Kimmie. I’m a precision nutrition certified coach and I’m excited to help you with your relationship with food.
I graduated from Anderson University with a BA in Dance Business but found my love for nutrition and fitness after being a Beachbody Coach in 2019 and 2020. I loved motivating my clients to work out and eat healthy, but what was missing was the in-person community and solid, sustainable nutrition to follow.
This began my search to gain more knowledge on proper nutrition that was sustainable, and that wouldn’t restrict me to a crazy 1,200 calorie diet. I researched many companies and decided to get my certification through precision nutrition. This course provided me with a solid background of nutrition that allows me to work with a wide range of clients.
My main goal as a coach is to help guide my clients to learn how to build balanced meals for themselves so that when they’re no longer working with me they have the tools, resources, and education to continue on without me. I provide my clients with tools to learn how to make informed decisions for themselves so they can eat the foods they want, while still being able to see the results they want. Not only do my cleitns get help with nutrition, but they also recieve help with sleep, stress management, and recovery.
For you to get to know me a little better, here’s some things I believe when it comes to food:
-
Food should be enjoyed (how I came up with the name for my business)
-
There are no such thing as “good” and “bad” foods. Food is just food
-
You shouldn’t have to “earn” your food
-
Finding a better relationship with food will free you from those “guilt” feelings associated with food
-
There is no “best diet.” There is just the best way for you (individually) to eat so that you feel well and perform the way you want to perform
-
If you want the cookie, eat the dang cookie 🍪. Restricting yourself completely from your cravings will end with you craving it more and overeating on it anyway (I’ve learned this the hard way)
-
If ranch dressing helps you eat your vegetables, eat the ranch dressing
-
Good nutrition should feel more like a lifestyle, and less like a diet
